Mechanicsburg, Pa
All topless night this saturday July 11 at Williams Grove Speedway! The ever popular super sportsman will be taking off the wings for race 1 of a 2 race
series sponsored by Blazers Body shop and Williams Grove Speedway, which will award the top 10 points gaining drivers after event 2 is completed! Race 2 of the
series is set for saturday night October 10th. Not only will the super sportsman be wingless, the 358 late models who are also a major player in the Williams
Grove Speedway saturday series, will be removing their roofs for 1 time only and it takes place this saturday! Also for the first time ever making an
appearence as part of the saturday night series will be the ARDC midgets ( wingless as they always are!) But that is not all! Ardc midget super star and local
410 sprint car racer Steve Buckwalter from Royersford, Pa has teamed up with super sportsman car owner Mike Callahan to pilot ( for the first time ever) a
super sportman car! Steve will have several things going against him as he has never driven a super sportsman and being that this a normal points handicapping
race for the super sportsman, Steve will have to start his heat in the rear! Then providing he makes the transfer spot in his heat, the best he can start the
feature is 12th! This alone could be worth the price of admission! Pit gates open at 5pm with warmups scheduled for 6:30pm. Admission for all this is just
$10.00 for grandstand and/or infield!
Also the super sportsman weight limit will be dropped 50lbs, due to the loss of wing and wing mounts!
